Hi friends, people seemed to love my last room tour post on here so why not write another… but for autumn, which in my opinion makes everything much better!
a simple workspace.
A simple workspace has been deeply needed this autumn. Another thing deeply needed is a new desk though… I would really like to find a new old wooden desk… but for now, I can do with what I have!
My desk here is such a main space in my bedroom! I’m constantly adding new things to it and love changing it up seasonally!
Almost everything in these pictures above are items I thrifted and fixed up, but some things like the mirror and desk were hand-me-downs!
My dad had these old large wooden built-ins put in in the 90s with this strange three-mirror cubby/opening things…?? And trying to make it look not so out of place and confusing is a honest task!! But I’m pretty thankful for all the storage they give me!
I try to make the most of the space by keeping some of my everyday items in a tray I thrifted, a couple of my journals old and new, lipsticks, earrings, and a couple of other accessories.
My bed frame is from Walmart, the rug, sheets, and throw blanket are from Amazon. The Quilt set is from Zulilly as a gift, and my bedside table was free/given to us from a family friend.
I just recently bought this rug and throw from amazon… and boy what a difference a couple of cozy items can make! + all the frames on my wall were thrifted at Goodwill’s and little markets.
The Throw Blanket…
The Jute Rug…
That’s pretty much it for my little space!
keeping it simple and as clutter-free as possible definitely helps my brain function a little simpler, and clutter-free too!
Hope you’ve enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading friend.
