my winter favorites!

Winter round up!

Happy Sunday everyone! Thought I’d round up all the things that have made me pretty happy this last season!

I’ve come to realize that I’m pretty girly… I guess I’ve always been, but for some reason I always try not to share that part of me for some reason.

I have no clue why, but this blog isn’t just about fashion and makeup.  I’m talking about activity’s, recipes, and things for the home!

No. 1   Self.

A couple of my favorite makeup items this winter have been…

The Tarte Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette.

The Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Bahama Beige.

And The Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Ashton.

I have been obsessed with these little gold hoop earrings + gold bobby pins!

Bobby pins.

Cardigan. (Poshmark-Antropologie)

No. 2   Keeping busy.

Changing up and adding things to my bedroom has been one of my favorite things to do this winter!  I was just thinking about how everything I own is kind of collected.  Other then some of my bedding + clothing, everything I own is either thrifted, antiqued, gifted, or handed down!   Which makes me pretty happy because I haven’t spent a lot money + everything around me has a little story!  So I’d say that has been my biggest hobby this winter!

I get a lot of my inspiration from Pinterest!  This is my bedroom board! ↓

No. 3   Made with love.

I discovered the absolute best sugar cookie recipe this winter!!!  They are no chill, no spread, cut out cookies!

I love decorating sugar cookies but hate having to make the dough the night before, so this recipe is perfect for me…

I will definitely be using this recipe this spring!!

Here is the blog post with the recipe! ↓

No. 4    A cozy home.

I have been in love with this gold candle stick holder!!  I searched an entire antique warehouse and on the last floor I finally found

the gold candle stick holder I have been looking for!!

I think this tealight holder is the strangest thing!  It’s kind of a more modern oil lamp! But I think it adds

such a simple living feel to my desk! (thrifted for $3)

I love how simple and cozy it is to add a stack of old books to a space!

Building up this corner of my room is definitely still a work in progress! I’ve been in love with vintage feeling frames,

but sometimes they are so hard to find! (Thrifted)

I find almost all my inspiration on Pinterest! So if you’d like to take a peek I’ve linked my home boards! ↓

These are just a few of my favorite things from winter 2018-19!

I hope you have a great rest of the season!
